KatKat Beauty (formerly Elufa Trading) provides premium nail care products to wholesale and retail clients. Built on a foundation of innovation and reliability, the brand offers a comprehensive range of supplies designed to elevate nail artistry and client business performance. Kat Kat Beauty empowers its community to express themselves freely by focusing on inclusivity and top-notch customer service.

GOALS

The primary goal of the rebrand was to transition Elufa Trading into a more cohesive, consumer-facing brand under KatKat Beauty, giving them a stronger presence in the nail care industry. The business was operating with a functional identity, but lacked a distinctive brand system that could support sustainable growth and recognition in the future. My focus was to create a new identity that felt modern and approachable, but still playful, all while reinforcing key brand values like quality and reliability. The rebrand also needed to support a future product line expansion, equipped with a flexible system that could scale across different packaging and digital touchpoints.

RESULTS

To achieve this, I chose a decorative header font that immediately grabs attention, speaking to KatKat Beauty's loyalists and helping to attract new customers. Paired with its Neulis flankers, this font system creates an energetic and personable atmosphere that matches what the KatKat Beauty team provides to their clients everyday. To compliment the typography, I built a playful, warm color palette thats fosters a welcoming feeling, as another one of their goals was to strengthen relationships with their existing wholesale partners. The resulting system is modern, scalable, and designed to be an anchor for sustainability.
